Russian Government Refuses To Watch Season 4 of Game of Thrones

Russia slams United States with a new sanction.

MOSCOW — Following ban of accounts in foreign banks for state officials and possible ban on iPad use by Government, Russia is adamant on yet another serious sanction against US. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced on Thursday that he would no longer be following Game of Thrones, a popular fantasy series on HBO. He called on all officials who were watching the series to follow his example. “Certainly this is not easy, but we must impose as many counter sanctions on United States as possible. It is especially difficult in light of all season 3 cliffhangers, but at the time when Motherland needs us most we must stay strong”, — said the Prime Minister.

Kremlin critic Garry Kasparov thinks some ministers may not resist the temptation and secretly watch the new episodes. “We are humans after all, come on. One can’t follow rise of Daenerys Targaryen for 3 years and just suddenly stop. What about Jon Snow, is he ever gonna know anything? And don’t even get me started on that little bastard King Joffrey”. It’s always difficult to predict Kremlin’s next move, but there is a slight chance they will shoot an alternate ending to the series. One where Seven Kingdoms organize a free and transparent  referendum and vote to join Russia.

Kremlin will however resume watching Walking Dead a series where United States is swept by a zombie apocalypse and all protagonists face certain doom.
